TimberMill Drive nearing completion
Klamath Falls, OR. (May 15, 2007) — Construction of TimberMill Shores’ newest roadway is nearing completion. Mountian Pacific Corp. is expecting completion of the 1300 lineal foot roadway which stretches will stretch from Klamath and 2nd Streets to 4th and Plum Streets by mid summer 2008.
The roadway will open up all interior and lakefront lots of the first phase of the 50 acre mixed used development. Construction plans include extensive landscaping, decorative lighting, on street parking and geothermally heated sidewalks throughout the development.
TimberMill officials are excited with the energetic activity on the project including current owners who are already built out
or in planning stages. Initial business interests include: AmeriTitle, John L. Scott Realty, Aspen Title, Oxford Suites Hotel
Group, and South Valley Bank and Trust. In 2007, TimberMill Shores sold four additional lots. Currently, only lots 8, 10, 14,
lot A and lot 7 remain within the 15 lot Phase One development. Of interest, Lot 7 has, until now, been reserved by the
developers and has not been officially marketed. Lot 7 is TimberMill's largest and only remaining lake front lot. It
is especially ideal for a developer who has a particular vision for Lot 7 and may want to continue that vision into
the neighboring phase 2 plan. TimberMill's developing group has only now elected to put this lot back on the market and
will seek a select buyer for this unique opportunity.
Rob Shaw, TimberMill’s President, stated "Most of these deals were finalized prior to any construction, so we are especially
pleased with these businesses whose vision, quality and caliber indicate the sort of community TimberMill is establishing on
the lakefront." Mr. Shaw went on to say, "With the recent construction activity, we are seeing increased interest in
TimberMill Shores and it is all very exciting." TimberMill officials expect some recent owners to begin construction within 2008.
The TimberMill site is located adjacent to downtown Klamath Falls, along the shores of Lake Ewauna. The development has turned a former lumber mill site from industrial work yard into a neighborhood whose high development standards are expected to change the face of downtown Klamath Falls in the years to come.
